So I have to say that I think the two classes this time are just outstanding. I can’t wait for you to see them both.

But in the mean time. Here’s another sneak. This time its of Lianne’s Class. Here’s a bit of a blurb of what she says..

Add this layout to your album or display on a nice stand. You'll be learning some very cool techniques including a fun background technique using Crafters Workshop templates, and some handmade embellishments using gorgeous patterned papers by Fancy Pants and Prima. Should suit any photo. Tip: you'll need a plastic card e.g. old credit card or store card etc so don't throw them away.

Ok, I know its just a sneek. But its making me so excited. Look at that texture, and those flowers, and banners….I can’t wait til the end of September!!

A new Sponsor

Hi everyone, well time is ticking away, and with July a third of the way gone, I just wanted to introduce another new sponsor to the Retreat.

So I know you have all been hanging out for a bit of a sneak of the classes, and this won’t disappoint. I have seen the whole layout and it is absolutely Gorgeous (with a capital G!)

Here is what Louise says about the Class:

I’m teaching some cool techniques and a gorgeous (if I say so myself! lol) layout featuring Twiddleybitz, Prima, Webster’s Pages and Basic Grey… it suits pretty much any photo – girl or boy, adult or child, old or new, horizontal or vertical so bring a few photos to choose from.

Trust me, you want to do this class. It is just lovely and a class that everyone will love.

And on that note, Registrations for the retreat are going to officially close on the 30th July. So if you haven't yet registered or are on the fence about it then please make sure you get your registration forms through.

All payment for the retreat need to be with me by 1st August at the latest, so there is still time to pay it off over the next couple of months if you want to.

Hi everyone, just thought I would give you a bit of an update on the Sponsor's sidebar on the right there which you might want to keep an eye on over the coming months.

I'll be busy lining up all sorts of goodies for everyone over the next few months but I'm excited over the response I've already received. Thanks already to Scrapbook Outlet NZ who are going to be the retailer on site. From the sounds of it Andrea is going to have some fantastic products available for sale including the latest and greatest.

Then I have a new sponsor this time in Takapuna Art Supplies. I discovered this treasure trove of art supplies when I was trying to find a stockist of Copic markers. TAS have them and the couple that own the store are lovely and have agreed to supply a prize.

Speaking of Copic Markers. I just heard from the Australia distributor this morning and they are also sending over an awesome prize! So great. So now I'm going to contact a few stamp manufacturers and see if I can find some stamps to go with those fantastic markers. If you havn't tried the copics before and you do stamping or cardmaking then I highly recommend them. I have the Ciao range because I wanted to try them out and liked the price range of them. So mark your diaries now as the dates have been set, the venue booked and everything is coming together for my next retreat.

As most of you will know my retreats have previously been known as The Sketchbook Retreat. However with The Sketchbook now having closed down I have rebranded to "Megan's Retreat".

Everything else is the same. This time I have Lianne Gray coming back and she is going to teach a fantastic layout class which is already looking amazing, along with Louise Williams who is going to be doing an awesome class with some very cool Twiddleybitz product.

Of course we can't have a retreat without a shop so this time we will be having the latest and greatest from The Scrapbook Outlet NZ. Andrea will be sending us up a great selection of product to keep all of the shoppers in us happy.

Plus Rose will be back with her amazingly yummy food. What more could we ask for?
